With the recent turmoil in Venezuela and the upcoming bankruptcy/chaos in Italy, it got me thinking about this.
Does it ever occur to you that there are revolutions around the world because there people who actually care about solving high unemployment rate, corruption and social instabilities in their country? it could easily trigger nationwide unrest because of these problems and it shows how people want their problems fixed so badly.
However, it doesn't happen in the sub Saharan Africa. There was never a revolution, turmoil or uprising in our modern times. It is usually the foreign agencies who have the power to topple them and install another dictatorships but not the people themselves.
When the Arab spring happened in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen and others, everyone thought it will spill into Sudan and the Horns of Africa but NOTHING HAPPENS.
Why are Africans unable to confront the problems they have in their countries and not stand up and actually do something instead of rotting and begging for foreign aids?
