Apparently the YPG are getting bombed by the SAA and the Russians today. The death of a Russian general under suspicious circumstances in a ISIS mortar attack is being blamed on the SDF and American special forces who were present in the same area where the mortars were launched.

Interesting development. I sense these are tests to determine Russia's patience, how far it would go and react. The US can roll back Russia's gains in Syria, and that isn't fiction.

Not at this stage, the us uses indirect methods and cutouts/agents to attack Russians in Syria.
A direct attack opens US bases and Naval ships to attack.
