Yes, because the research machinery have robots in them. And because a human hand can not get into a machine which has the same pressure as space, pressure below atmospheric, somehow their samples have to be inserted inside that low pressure ultra high vacuum process chambers, ROBOTS have to be used.

Or people can not stick their arms where 8000 kilo Volts electricity and magnets produce a beam that melts gold/chromium/aluminum crucibles for making a circuit.

Your ignorance about this subject is obvious, so, instead of challenging someone's legitimate claim, ask for an explanation.

All you are doing is show how low you think of yourself as a Somali and your belief perhaps no Somali can have such job. Dude.

You do know that White people TURN OFF things before they do anything, right?

But I got give it to you Jamaac Bond, you're one imaginative welfare recipient.

$1.5m is nothing. That won't even get 100,000 phone covers.

LOOOL, I guess I spent my free time reading up on some good shit material that made me sound educated despite being on welfare all my life with no formal education to show for.

With that said, you see the connection between science and technology? That is where the future is. In the past, Technology was separate from science, today both are intertwined and neuroscience benefits from the know-how of an electrical engineer. People are pulling together to have branches of science talk to one another as one field for greater results.

I am not surprised when someone like you does not know that. Most people wouldn't. Dude. put your good brains to good use and make something of yourself other than insulting your kinsmen.

Ask away.

Sherlock, Technology is everywhere, software is eating the world, the world has become flat because of software. Science will of course get affected but that's not the point. The point is for someone who pretends to be in Technology, you don't know shit about the current situation of Tech and said it yourself in this thread, now you're telling us you're at the cutting edge of Tech.

So what am i to believe. I think you're playing us for fools. So with that said, sayonara (a jap robot taught me that :)).

Because I didn't know about Libre-Office my qualifications are void? What if I have never liked Linux based Os? What if I have never bought a single device from Apple and never used Apple laptops ever even though they are so popular with my coworkers? Can somebody just freaking like windows based electronic devices? You are strange in your line of thinking dude.

Also, you are strange for assuming technical specialist in some field of technology and research would know about all kinds of software. Some research facilities actually use their own in house software which they wrote to satisfy their own needs. We use a vendor for our software needs and it is tailored to our equipment expectations. Beyond that, I am not actively looking for what is new in software development beyond what I need for work.

What is your level of education and profession anyway?

It is easy to lie to rack up some points and impress others, but one has to be juvenile to have such needs. I do fine without lying.

Dacasbiyo, people in science and technology fields do not necessarily keep up with the latest software trends,
my cousin designs chips for motorola and until recently his office still used windows 2000.
and he has no facebook, twitter and hates social media.

anyway libreoffice sounds interesting but, i havent used Office since i discovered google docs,
the entire business model for windows is obsolete.
I doubt microsoft will survive another 5 years.

Gurey, your cousin is like me, I have no facebook, no intagram, no snap-chat, I rarely use viber to communicate with people back home for few minutes. I thought I was the only one strange like that. All my relatives are on facebook and the few times I surfed with them, I noticed the entire Somali population is on facebook. I was like -nah - Thank you, no facebook for me.

Anyway, Libre-office is free to download. I would recommend it to everyone who needs Microsoft office or does not like Google doc. People back home can use it to their advantage and save money.

I downloaded it on every pc/laptop I have access to for convenience. I have Google accounts and can use Google doc but prefer to use Libre Office or Microsoft. I distrust Google and apple. I am anti both, specially apple. Made a moral decision not to buy Apple products long ago. It is obscene they charge almost thousand dollars for a device that cost them less than 200 dollars to produce. I am keeping my money from them.
