I don't know if this poor bastard was Somali or not, but he shoulda forsaw what he was getting in to.
ARREST IN LOVE TRIANGLE
A 26-year-old man has been arrested in the city's latest murder -- an apparent love triangle that ended when an estranged husband was stabbed in the heart at a home in Scarborough.
One day after finding Mohamed Hussein fatally stabbed in the driveway of a home on McGregor Rd., southeast of Birchmount Rd. and Lawrence Ave. E., Toronto Police took a suspect into custody in the east end.
Clinton Michael Gordon was arrested "without incident" and charged with manslaughter yesterday, police say.
Hussein was found lifeless just before 1 a.m. Saturday by officers responding to the scene of a fight between two men. The 24-year-old Hussein was Toronto's 71st murder victim of the year.
Srisisiththananth "Mark" Mahadevan, who owns the home where Hussein died, lives on the main floor of the bungalow with his family and rents the basement out to Hussein's wife.
The 35-year-old witnessed the fight and told the Sun it was between his tenant's estranged husband and a man she had been dating until recently.
BLEEDING IN DRIVEWAY
The ex-lover fled briefly, Mahadevan said. But as Hussein's wife -- identified by the landlord as Kim Davies -- led her badly beaten estranged husband inside, the ex-lover returned.
The remainder of the drama unfolded around the corner from Mahadevan, who was on the phone calling 911. So he was unable to see exactly what happened next.
However, he said the ex-lover "took off" again moments later in a Ford Explorer, leaving Hussein bleeding from his chest in the driveway.
An autopsy yesterday confirmed Hussein died of a stab wound that penetrated his heart.
The dead man's children, both toddlers, were in the basement crying out, "Daddy! Daddy!" as their father lay dying just beyond their reach.
The kids were in the care of an aunt over the weekend because their mother suffered facial injuries at some point in the incident and had to be hospitalized. It's unclear who beat the woman up.
