i used to hear it in a story about a muslim father back in the day in Andalus when muslim ruled Spain . A youn g bloodied Spaniard comes rushimg into the old man's house's courtyard and tells says please I have killed a muslim and being chased please help me ........the old man tells him go hide in that room behind those stuff and locks the room. After a while a whole crying bunch of people burst in carrying a dead young man and members of the old mans family crying and wailing........the dead young man was the old man's son. By the way the murderer was christian......so the last thing he expected was to be set free .............but this particular father did the unexpected.....he told them to wash the body and take it to mosque to be prayed on........and sent some to dig the grave........all this time the Spaniard is hearing everything. The dead young man gets buried ........it was a tiresome day every one sleeps......and somewhere late late at night ........when every thing became completely silent....he opens the room and tells the stressed murderer to go........before anyone sees him. Ofcourse he couldn't believe at first....u can imagine how he would cry and kiss that old man .... how sorry he would be for the rest of his life.............Strong people with strong faith.
that is because as Somalis we are " Geeljires at heart" and the iman has not entered into our hearts....we are mostly Muslims.....a few of us have attained the mu'min stage...........and there are two more stages to attain...Taqwa stage and the highest stage is Muxsin ( which is worshiping Allah like u r seeing Him....for if u r not seeing Him....He is seeing u.......that is when u become wholesome fair and square (four sides of Ka'ba) ..............may Allah help us attain all stages....I would end up murdering that guy in the most brutal fashion. I just don't have it in me to forgive someone if they killed a family member, let alone my son!
