When you are Somali being famous will only ruin your life . You can easily be very famous within the Somali community but most of these well known peaple are poor or just normal people , as a result they face too much social problems. All our musicians are broke but they can't get out without a car , they can't do normal jobs it's really very hard to be famous you need lots of money to cover your cost of living.

It's not as easy as you think. They only get 1 third of the money. The rest goes to the hotel, promoters, and fellow singers.
