The Americans should implement an Afghanistan policy and bypass Farmaajo.....talk directly with AS and agree to support an acceptable AS govt that renounces intetnational terrorism.

The regional Govts will be outside of AS control and will form a loose confederation with Xamar.

Alshabaab is not in garowe because the local people do not want them. Al Shabaab is not in hargeysa because the locals do not want them.

As long as the local population is sympathetic to al shabaab, al Shabaab will be present.

I think choas has a huge part to play, you can also add the lack of education.

If a place is peaceful, then the parents would sent their kids to school. But if there is isbaaro everywhere and morayaans patroling the streets. Then the parents are not so inclined to sent their kids to school.

It is a proven fact that lack of education contributes a huge precentage in radicalisation.

A whole generation of kids who grew up uneducated and seeing violence everywhere, without the tools to uplift themselves.
