I third that! up

After that...second vote goes to...definitely Dhagdheer...though Xaawo Taako is bigger and stronger woman with dignity and wadaninimo, it's Dhagdheer's stories i remember being told back when i was infant!

Me too with Mohawk... well said mate.

My 2nd choice is cagdheer. Aney i afduubatey markaa yaraa...for all out there who say she's fictional, I wouldn't be so certain. I have the scars to prove. I tell you my scape ordeal another time.

Caraweelo and Dhegdheer dhimatooy dhulkii nabade, waa sheeko caruureed. Children's story. If you are into a children's story, there is an inmate awaiting to be executed on Dec.6. His life hangs on the chance that the governor would extend him an amnesty. He wrote several children's story and was nominated Nobel Prize six times while serving his time. Laughing

sxb horta do you have a personallity of any sorts why are you so serious 24/7, mothers kulahaa Laughing

musliman

i believe dhadheer was dhulbahante tribe who used to eat young boys in the nugaal regions as the story goes.

there was also another woman who was called Araweelo who came from yemen and became a local dispotic ruler, but this story sounds fictitious because she supposedly used to cut males balls off Embarassed Shocked

but isnt suprisin that we dont really have internatinaly aclaimed female icons or even trully somali woman icon one that surpises region/tribe loyalties.
