The Ogeyslabe is a subclan of the Warsangali Harti-Darod (Somali) also known as ugaaslabe. They inhabit the Sanaag region and are geographically spread in Sool, Bari, and across all the regions of Warsangali, Somalia.

Although some sources mention that Ogayslabe is not a subclan of Warsangeli.

However, according to the historians and the elders in the Warsangeli sultanate, Ogayslabe was a subclan of Warsangeli Harti, Darod, but due to civil conflicts that have taken place in the region, Ogaylsabe moved from their family and continued on as an independent clan.

Matter of fact Ogayslabe were the rulers of Warsangeli sultanate at times during the British colony. When the British colony failed miserably to conquer Warsangeli sultanate territory that was ruling northern Somalia. they started to divide the families and create hatred among them, using the ancient method of divide and then conquer.[1] They began to split up the families and sow discord among them. This caused violent clashes among the Warsengli, which culminated in the Warsengli Sultanate's downfall and defeat.
