I'm very well brother and wish you the same. No, i have been doing the same routine since the riots started and the visibility of cops is good for public safety. Just did my morning jog along the beach and there were more than usual friendly faces from my fellow Aussies. Thing have cooled down and it is not as bad as the media wants to portray it. Nothing much of violent significancies happens here and yes sometimes, there are random attacks by red-necks on women and the weak, and by ethnic gangs on others, but no one with their right mind will approach me. Mate things are normal for us Somalis here, unless you think that you are related to the Lebanese (Christians and Muslims) like LionHeart thinks.

Sir, I have a question of my own for you. When you and many people on these boards post topics about “Somalis” whose ways seem to irritate the heck out you why not be specific? .. Btw I think people should be able to live wherever they please, and there are many factors that determines where people choose to live .. Such as budget, convenience, access to services, safety etc …and most reasonable people would not list avoiding other Somalis as a factor unless of course there are Somalis who have taken to strange ways these days and need to be avoided at all costs.

Mate, let me educate the Yankees and tell them that migration of Syrian and Lebanese Christians to the west commenced several hundred years ago and in some cases earlier. The first Lebanese Christians migrants came to Australia in the 1880's. The second wave, larger came soon after the Second European/Asian war, "WW2". But most Muslim Lebanese migrants came here during the recent Lebanese civil war.
