I wouldn't be surprised if non-Somalis chew qaad. Qaad like other drugs, isn't chewed by certain ethnics/races. All it takes is introducing it to non-Somalis, and those who hook up with it will sure become addicted. Personally, of non-ethnic Somalis, I only saw Somali-Pakistanis and Somali Bantus chewing it. Of cadaans (whites), I knew an American who used to chew/dip tubaako.
