Slander Boy, I am not opposed to Somaliland independence if it is something all rer Wuuqoyi want not just the wishes of 1 tribe.

If there was a free election in a more peaceful time and the ProUnity forces were allowed to campaign freely, then it would be legitimate. But getting up one evening and declaring independence for a whole territory of people who may or may not support it is not a smart idea

Many so called Somalilanders supported Maxamed Siyaad Barre at one time: Siilanyo, Igal, Dahir Riyaale etc. The last Prime Minister Omar Arteh Ghalib was from Somaliland so its not the SOuth which is fully responsbile for the problems
Confirmed:

1. Issaq (except the wildcards Habar Jeclo)

StandBy:

1. Gadabuursi
2. Habar Jeclo

Against:

1. Harti: Dhuulos, & Warsangeli
You're the dumbest person I know in Somalinet...HJ wild card buu ku leeyahay. What do you know about HJ? Let me tell you this, when it comes to Somaliland and it's sovereignty, no one is more dedicated than HJ and that is a fact. Calling Gadabuursi by standards is absurd.

As far as the Dhullo, they're just confused about the difference between nationality and tribal affiliation. I tell you this though, thy rather be with Somaliland than Mooryaans.

BTW, shouldn’t you focus on your own problems? I heard you guys blew your asses up in Mogadishu last night AGAIN. Why are you guys still fighting? There are no Darood or Isaaq militias on your soil yet you all in each other’s throat. For what?

If I were you, I wouldn't be talking about politics.

Me neither. Razz Adiga your nasabness is in question since we don't know your qolo. Are you ashamed, my mushunguli brother. Laughing

S-lander,
In all honesty, Somaliland is the cancer of Somalia. And the sooner we get ride of it(crossing my fingers they get recognized) the better for Somaliweyn. But if that EVER happens, they will have something else to complain waa never endking saga. How come Isaaqa are the only qolo that never attempted to rule Somaliweyn, why limit themselves to three tuulos? It makes one wonder.

If Somalia is divided into enclaves and every clan, group that can get along should cesede and declare independence from others, that would be the grassroots for a new federal system to be implemented and will make everybody happy except the Hawiye. Only them are the ones eating their flesh, every other clan, territory is currently peaceful and prospering while they are ripping each other like wild dogs.

What is wrong with these ppl? Can someone tell me why they are fighting?

Again, the gap between the truth and what you present is wider then the atlantic ocean.

1. Hawiyes (as 50%+ of their population) are not fighting!
2. The hawiyes that are fighting, are fighting for warlords and strongmen who have interests to gain and/or protect.
3. The reasons they fight are no different from the reasons humans have and continue to fight to the present: POWER AND GREED.

Axlaan good question, Why dont Isaaq try to Rule over all Somalia?
Its to do with our clan culture.

Isaaqs do not dominate each other, even the little subclans are free and behave as if they are bigger than everyone else.
Isaaq also never had powerfull sultans/boqors etc to lord it over them,
our power structures have always been loose, and chaotic.

We do not dominate within ourselves we cooperate, and we find it strange how other clans like Majeerteen have a power addiction.
