Ina baxar,
would you rather we change our flag too. My dear, selling our soul to the gaalo is one thing we will never do as Somaliweyn.

Dhage,
I'm all for peace and prosperity for all Somalis. My cousins in garoowe dream big, unlike my friends in burco iyo hargeysa. Wink

Again, the gap between the truth and what you present is wider then the atlantic ocean.

1. Hawiyes (as 50%+ of their population) are not fighting!
2. The hawiyes that are fighting, are fighting for warlords and strongmen who have interests to gain and/or protect.
3. The reasons they fight are no different from the reasons humans have and continue to fight to the present: POWER AND GREED.[/quote]

Ok I never thought I was going to say this but enough with the whining. Somaliland is now supposedly independant, which I frankly don't care about nor does it concern me. However to move forward you guys have to let go of the past (Ex.The rest of Somalis), Whatever happens elsewhere in Somalia should be the least of your concerns. You can't have it both ways, where you're your own country and at the same time keep meddling in our affairs.

Or is the whole Somaliland concept a trick? seeking of attention? crocodile tears perhaps?

Somalida oo dhan suffered from this extended civil war, face it no one qabill won anything.

Demure walaal,
i dont know wht you mean.
Meddle in your affairs?????
are you serious???

Somaliland is not yet secure, and it SHOULD BE MEDDLING
but its not, somalilands leaders have just buried thier head in the sand and completly ignored the rest of somalia, not doing anything, thinking
they are independant.

Demure , Somaliland is OBVIOUSLY not independent . Wether you want to admit or not , the rest of Somalia is as divided if not more along tribal lines too. I don't agree with it , but it is also OBVIOUS that even y'all in south can't live with each other. As far " stay away from our business" the case can be made , both ways , so all in all it is a little more complicated than that
Slander boy , it's everything BUT jealousy . It is a heated issue , both sides can have valid points , so unless you contribute with something worth while , iska bax sheekada , waxba ku ma haysid meeshee.

Salaan Carabay . He explains in a poet battle that Harti lost Caynabe like so many cities before it:

"Ararsame ma haybsado Nugaal, horashadii ceel e
Hannas iyo harraad kulul adoo, habaq leh soo guuray
Caynabe hadhuub ka ma dartaan, hogo kalinleed e
Ka hulleele Hagar Aadankii, hooballayn jiray e
Aduun baa hayayda u guntan e, heeryo LaGu saar ye"

LONG LIVE THOSE WHO LOVE PEACE

No man its not jelousy, its just very difficult to let go emotionaly of
the ideal images they have in thier heads.
It happens to all of us man.

For most somalilanders this emotional attachment was shredded by
the bombings of our cities.
The strong emotional attachments are still there for the rest of somalia.

I admit even i have these feelings
(Closet Somaliweynist)
Very Happy
