Probably becasue achieving peace and stabilty was a fulltime job.
We should be able to do that now if the oppurtunity presents itself.

[/quote]

We are waiting my friend. Every other peace process initiated by forigners is lacking something, maybe it's the understanding of the core malignant cause of the madness, and Somaliland knowing "halka ay sartu ka qudhuntay, might be able to salvage the savages Laughing Laughing Laughing

Baxar,

I hear you bro and if it's the "want" of the shacab, no head of state can object to that

Ina baxar,
Somaliweyn isn't standing in the way of Somaliland's recognition, in fact they can careless. All we're saying is, let's bury the hashes and move on. I know it's easier said than done, but please for the love of anything that is holy...GET OFF OF SOMALIWEYNS D%^& and let us be. Very Happy

Dhage,
You should thank the mooryans for giving you the window of opportunity to separate from the rest of Somaliweyn. If it wasn't for the tragedy in 1991, your asses would still be under the control of darood/faqash.

gurey,
Your analogy would make sense to someone who isn't a born leader, therefore, me being from darood....I have a hard time accepting or even understanding it. Even the hawiye attempted to rule Somalia. Why would you rather segregate yourself from the rest of your people, instead of getting your piece of the pie?

Axlaan , anigu hadaan shaqsiyan u hadlayo , I 100% agree with you . Let's bury the hatchet , waa lays dilaa waana la heeshiya .
Somali society is , waad iska garaneysa , f.ucked up though. Waa lana caayi , iyoo fadeexad ka biximayno ba laga wada cabsonaya , ileen anagu waynaga garbaharey ku celiney attorihiini ee {<-- allow that , iidoor faan Laughing }
Marka the change has to come from the people , Insha Allah it is possible but it is going to require some time. Anigu I don't support Somaliweyn , because of a particular love that I have for a certain tribe , but simply because I deeply believe I can acheive more as a Somali rather than just being an Isaaq.

See there you go !!
"Born leader" , " bieng a Darood"
This attitude will continue to prevent you from understanding.
Leadership is not pulling a gun to someones head and giving orders.
Its a much more difficult job.

I still don’t quite comprehend the whole concept of Somaliland isolating themselves from the rest of Somali, It doesn’t make a differents, and the world will still perceive you guys as being the people of Somali.

Ina baxar,
labo cali awalba iskuma heyn inaad waalantahay. Laughing
But i'm glad as an individual, you agree with me.

gurey,
Somalidu asxaan wax kuma fahanto, so holding a gun over their heads and putting the fear of jesus in them is the only way to go. I think the reason why they can't/don't wanna rule Somali is because it easier for them to play the victim card than to actually be part of Somaliweyn. It suks to be living in a cuqdad environment and singing the old negro song all day. Laughing

dhage,
Correction, it was 1991.
Labadaana isma geyno walaal, for the obvious reason.

S-lander,
You are still wet behind the ears, so anything I say would be a waste on you. I am not good at baby talks.

I didn't know you were unnasab!

Correction...the mooryaan chased your uncle from Mugadisho in 1991. We kicked him out of our home in 1988.
