His Excellency President Abullahi Ahmed Yusuf has nominated Danyeer to be his official pet. Danyeer was born near Kuntawareey to Xaji Qob Moos and Mama Moos. The official pet's responsibilities are to entertain visitors to the Presidential villa and to post nonsense articles on SomaliNet. Prior to joining the Office of the President, Danyeer worked as a circus clown in Kazahstan.
