deep down inside every somali knows that things just didn't happened to get to this state, they were planned this way from the start. I mean, this is no historical insertia, or just how shiit turned out, somalis were systematically sold out in the events leading up to so called independence in 1960 and are suffering as a result. A brave somali man who witinessed the events soon to be described told me it was planned by the god damn british. This is what he said:
The british having defeated the Italians after 1945 were directly adminstering somalis in the south, north, northern kenya and in somali inhabited eastern Ethiopia. The British contrary to all the b.s wanted to seperate the somalis way before even defeated of Italy. Because In 1959 they took some somalis, the famous Somali Youth League members to a place called Africa House in London, part of the Ministry of Colonial Affairs. This was a turning point in that the italian adminstered UN trusteeship was coming to a close and the whole idea of creating "Greater Somalia" was being thrown out. So, these somali fellas, flown into London straight into a Africa House are sitting in front of British generals and talking about what to do with the somalis of east africa.
The British pretty much said this: Listen, very soon Italy will be making a proposal to you about the future of the Somalis, before they do this and before you accept I would like you to hear our plans for your people. We the British, want to combined the somali territories in ethiopia, kenya and north and south into one entity, we will build a railroad like the one we built in kenya up north and a university like the one we built in Uganda, in exchange for you opting to stay within British colonial adminstration and forfeiting this independence drive.
After presenting this proposal, within a few days sure enough the Italian ambassador in London comes over to the London hotels were the SYL leaders are staying and drives them all out into town, buying them booze and corrupting them until they find themselves in a city called Modena in Italy. The SYL leaders are now sitting accross Italian generals and former colonial agents and they precede to lay out their plans:

The British general looks at them furious and says: well, you have just sealed your fate by refusing to stay with British Colonialism. Because, you might not see it now, but in the coming decades tribal wars will break out and somalis will be divided and weakened.
...the only relevance is that the British S.O.B just forget to add that THEY would make sure that things happened just this way, THAT SOMALIA NEVER UNITES AND STAYS CRUMBLED.
