I'd rather die a slow painful death then to be in the same room as U Rolling Eyes

Yes, if I can have a nice house, maids, satellite dish so I can watch Young and the Restless, and come back to the states every three months for a vacation. Very Happy But seriously, I think I would honestly die of boredom and breeding if I move baadiye. What is there to do in miyi ather than adhi raac, biyo dhaansi iyo shukaansi raqiis ah?

The best thing about Badiye is doing everything at a basic level and the simplicity of life. But I was so embarrassed to take a shower in the open when I went there for a month and plus. I just made sure I didn't go out to the bond/biya fariisinka/warta when everyone else went there. You have plenty of time to think about things and philosophise life events. I committed to memory Al-Baqra and Al-Cimra but forgot them as soon as I came to Nairobi Laughing Nothing to laugh about but just proves a city life takes a toll on one's spirituality.

Surely, Life in Badiye can be pleasant when there is plenty of rain and cows to milk(I don't like Camels and camel Milk). There is beauty in the natural settings of the ambience. Going hunting with a group of guys was fun too, a life of adventure and risks, sleeping on the ground and doing everything the opposite way of town norms can be a positive experience. More than four or six weeks though is not good.

you know what, on second thought, i'd love to live in baadiyo, i'm sick and tired of the city scene. i want to get out in the open, breathe the fresh air. becoming a goat herder or something. the baadiyo life is so simple, i will give it a try someday.

hey bro, It is not that easy, life can be difficult and you can face hardhsips as a committed goat herder. Think again. Ciyaal maamaa tahay adiga considering how long you lived in the west. The best thing is not to live in badiye permanently but go there seasonally. It would be really a life changing experience and you can learn a lot about humanity and what it means to be one with nature. Other than that, it is not so simple a life unless there is constant rain that doesn't diluge or cause floods.

I loved every minute I spent in Badiye as I am aesthetic in nature and love beauty Very Happy

It's not as simple as it may seem, it tests your abilities in ways that they may have never been in provoking circumstances.. Its a hard life walle..

But i would love to watch the sun set and rise and breathe the fresh airm, little things like that we don't get or we may forget...To know that there is a god..
