Whatever happened to the Reer Jilib?

I have been trying for some time to contact friends from the time I spent in Jilib, with no success. While most were Hawiye, Mj and Barawanii, I did know a number of the Gosha.
I have been piecing together a story from what I have been able to glean here. If I have it right, the Gosha were kicked off their farms during or after the big drought in 1992. I am guessing they made it into Kenya and were evacuated from there.
I have recently heard that there is a large "resettlement " camp in Oaklahoma and I believe I read earlier that there is another in Canada. Does anybody know the whole story?
How are the Gosha here in the West doing? Does anyone have contact information better than going through the BBC Somali language programs?
