May I point out that African Americans were treated in exactly the same way the Gosha (now the Shaan Barro) were treated by the Siad Barre regime and the Sultanate of Oman? Not to mention the Somali clans before the Italians, or the Italians after they established the plantation system. You do not undo generations of discrimination and deprivation in a few years. Clearly even half a century has not been enough.
