WHEN AN INSULT IS AN INSULT

I blame both sides of the agument over the current dispute of the offence caused by cartoons or crecature published by a Danish newspaper,it seems in Europe a number of countries have elected a right wing governments who are antimuslim/immigrants,so when this incident occured five months ago which is a long time ago when the Saudi government protested the danish government should have appologised and that would have been the end of the story, but their argument was that in the west the press is independent from a government hands, but since it caused deplomatic incident from another country it should have said sorry, that shows you that there are people using the cartoons to offend the Muslims,my ather point is I have never heard of Saudi arabia protesting insults to Islam, the American government does worse than that and the ALSAUD royal family never says any thing or does anything so why this time is it because Denmark is a small country, the ather thing is the last few days I have listenning radio phone ins in England and it seems this people have fear of Islam, and that muslims are threatening their way of live or forcing them to Islam I don't know why they believe that because nobody is forcing Islam on their throat, but their point is the press in EUROPE IS INDEPENDENT and they don't want censering, may be we Muslims should be patient and should not jump to the gun every time a nonbeliever says something about our religion.

You blame both sides? What is that supposed to mean?

No Muslim launched an unprovoked attack on them. They decided, knowing how much it was gonna offend Muslims to publish such crap. It is not a matter of whether they are believers or not, the fact is that they intentionally mocked and ridiculed our prophet and our religion. That is unacceptable.

I think it is good that people are starting to realise or debate whether there should be limits to individual freedoms. Why should a person be allowed to exercise his so-called freedom, if that cause injury or offence to 1.3 billion people around the world? I think it is time they realised this kind of behaviour is disrespectful and not tolerated.

Gobdon,

And why would you give them the pleasure of trashing what you hold so dear (if at all you do)? I am really disappointed in such comment soming from a Muslim, even the non-Muslims are raising their voices about this incident and you are preaching to turn the other cheek, I hope someone slaps your other cheek just to wake you up from that heartless snooze you seem to be enjoying.

I think it's about time We muslims put our own house inorder, and we shouldn't look too far we should start from own countries,if you look Somalia we shed muslim blood and taken muslim property both which are Haram according to the holly Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet peace be upoun him,so we shouldn't even have any say on the mater and many of us are now refugees in the west so we should obey the laws of the countries we are in and try to integrate to our host countries.Look to Saudiarabia and how they treat felow Muslims and how they misuse the Sharia-law by hunging innocent people, and look places like Egypty where there is a government hostile to Muslims and does whatever it wishes tortures some jails them and kills athers,Ather thing I don't realise is may be it's a totall war between the muslim world and the west and the gap between them is growing farther and farther a part, hence these cartoons what is going on is physical and verbal wars between both sides, and what's the definition of the word TERRRORIST ONE MAN'S FREEDOM FIGHTER IS ANOTHER MAN'S TERRORIST,WHAT'S WRONG BEING TERRORIST IF WE HAVE AN ALL WAR I WOULD USE ANY MEANS NECESARY.

True, because the non believer's precise objective is to get a reaction like this from us, So why oblige them?. Would it still be an insult if we did not heed their trivial gibes? I think not. Besides if we must respond, I'm sure we could have done a better job with more striking retorts than what's been accomplished so far; the ineffective pitiful wails.
