The Times is not a left-liberal paper though, until phony Tony came to scene, it has always been a Conservative-supporting newspaper and will be, once that fu&kers leaves 10 Downing street.

It is quite good though.

The San Francisco Chronicle

I keep CNN on during the day and get many of my updates from AOL news.

Most of my paper-reading recently has actually come from following links backwards that I have found here. Thank you.

Marduff,

Jackmormon. I am white, taught English in Jilib during the sixties.

You think this is a shit place? I am on a couple of dental forums that have REAL sharks. Here they just start name-calling when they run out of argument. Over there they do two weeks of research and then nail your ass to your keyboard.

Seriously, I like the intellectual stimulation I find here. There may be a lot of anger, but what Somalis are doing in the diaspora is very impresive.

Amat-Allah,

My afSomali is limited. I learned my written Somali using a different script than Osman's, and it has been many years since I heard a Somali voice. I am working on it, but the Hiiraan forum, as an example, is way beyond me.

I am a private citizen, a dental technician and laboratory owner. I do have a degree in history and an interest in things sociological and anthropological.

I have a family background and experience in irrigated ranching and gardening. Should things calm down sufficiently in the South, I would like to spend a couple of years helping rebuild the agricultural infrastructure.

Ive got to admit, these forums can do wonders to your vocabulary. Who is Osman? Are you having a particular problem with dialects, im sure if your exposed to various websites you'll comeacross southern and northern dialects. So i suggest you learn the northern(waqooyi) dialect and once you've mastered that, the southern(xamar) dialect will fall into place alot more easily.
I think everyone has a natural interest in anthrolpolgy/sociology, but thats nice to here walaal(bro)

Thats great. Mashallah. Good look and im sure it wont be long till the South settles, but thats really good of you. Im also hopeing to build a horseranch back home in Burco, ive always loved horses so its great to know that back home with all thats deralict land i can one day own, thats once my bank balance comes out of the -£ faze Laughing Laughing

So are u muslim bro, i kinda get the impression you are? Smile

I used to live with a mate in the late '90s that used to 'read' the Star (or maybe it called the 'Sport') religiously everyday prior to taking shower Laughing Laughing Laughing , the first 20 pages were full of nude women most of whom were pretty ugly I hasten to add
