Maraduuf,

Jilib is about 60 km NW from Kismayo. It is where the Shebelli meets the Juuba in a wet year. It is Somalia's agricultural heart.

I am not nearly as pessimistic about Somalis as you are.

Thank you for the advice. The books I am working from are classic woqooyi and nothing like the afMaymaay I remember hearing. I am making slow progress.

I am not sure what you mean by Muslim Bro? I am kaafir, not Muslim; but I have excellent relations with my Muslim neighbors and am sympathetic to Islam's position in the family of Abrahamic faiths. I regret and do not support the linkage between the Prophet and terrorism. Is that what you meant?
