Terrorism in The World

My understanding terrorism is threat of violence against civilians in order to attain goals that are Political or religious or idealogical in Nature , and its done by intimindation or coercion or instilling fear . Than if that is the Case why the West and the Islamic Countries have different definitions ?

terrorism mean to cause terror, and the west and Arab world do not have different definitions, they only think the other is causing that terror.

^^ well..the bias definition has alot todo with power. Western terrorism is carried out via with large armies, it looks objective and organized. Arab terrorism is carried out by few miltants, it looks inefficient and kind like petty theft compared to a sophisticated robbery. Basically, in these times white-collar terrorism has been classified as the legitemate terrorisim.

my opinion the latest the west uses through political means for example Sanctioning a country the record shows civilians suffer most . its new form of Neo economic colonization . on the other hand the only thing U see is fanatic muslims retaliating through religion jihad killing innocents .
why can't the muslim countries boyCott sactioning another muslim country ?

Aflibax, they certainly can do so. Infact, if these muslim cuntries really had grasp on their current position, they would be able to mobilize and become something better. alot of these countries are sitting on ots of wealth, they just need a rare individual to lead them out of their misery. Another thing, learn something from Hitler, you don't really need the oustide world to build yourself, it takes a few alliances and within years any arab nation can become a dominate force in the world.

aflibax, what really disgusts me is this subservient nature of arabs/muslims...man, just stand up for yourselves. Just a few weeks ago, many of the worlds muslims celebrated at Hamas' win in palestine. But history reminds us, Hamas might fall to political corrruption like the PLO and contract a terrorist division to do its dirty work. Frankly, I wasn't overjoyed at all. Americans and Isrealis are laughing because they know they can buy the loyalty of any arab leader for a couple of million.
