So what is the solution? How are we going to help the people back home? These are the two sites I have come across on the interenet. And this what I can offer to this thread

Islamic Relief

"Any place, in any desert, anywhere in the world, and particularly in the Arab world, wherever you have a great deal of sand dunes, underneath that is plenty of water, which goes against the thinking of geology and goes against the thinking of people. There is nothing there and you think that it is dry and there is no life. On the contrary, where you find huge accumulations of dunes, go there and dig a well. You will get plenty of water." - Dr. Farouk El-Baz to IslamOnline.net

I think if everyone can make a contribution to this drought, it would help abit and also if it's not too much to ask, A simple prayer would do the job if not capable of donating. And for those who are caught in these hardship moments that are currently in Somali, hope all ends well for them.

1. Pray

2. Pay

3. Post

That is what I am doing and I hope everyone does that.

Alxamdulilah, there is rainfall in most stricken parts but it will take sometime before the harvest and before green pasture for the animals.
