OGADEN INHABITED GARIISA SINCE IT IS BIRTH. WHAT BUSSINESS MEN ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??
COOL, what she is refering to I reckon is the MZ businessmen from Somalia. And this is the problem with us Ogaden, bloody Mohamed-Zuber are like a trojan-horse among our midst, they want everything for themselves. They have hijacked ONLF in Ogadenia and are resented by all other Ogaden sub-clans Evil or Very Mad

I just hope we dont let them f*ckers take our city (Garissa) and then have the audacity to try to run roughshod over us or become our local MPs and stuff like that.

I am Abdalla first, then Ogaden and those MZs can just f*ck off back to Dagaxbuur or wherever they hail from including DanGirl Wink Smile . Just joking sister, U can live and work in Garissa, all somalis are welcomed including Issaqs

The largest Somali tribe probably is Hawiya (as is most often cited) followed by Daroods and then the Issaqs. Daroods are the most disperse Somali tribe which confuses many ppl into thinking that land and populations are synonyms of each other. Ogadeen are probably the largest Somali sub-clan. Don’t ask me how I know this, cuz I don’t…pure speculation.

marduuf you should be the last person to speak about quality

Xplaya, Your list of districts are out of accuracy. You have also omitted many districts and towns intentionally.

There are nine Zonal adminstration in that Somali region. Liban zone, the Gode Zone and 7 others. I will get the info if time permits.

Let us come back to Gode zone, which you intentionally ignored.

IImey reer AMaadin , Ogaaden

Kalafo, Bahgeri

Gode, Tolomoge, Ogaden

Dhanan, Reer Ugaas Nuur , Ogaden

Ferfeer , Hawiye

Jigjiga, the Capital, is settled by Geri, Jidwaq only and it is the largest city in the regino. The current president hails from Geri. The Geri has unequivocal history of extending their rule to Dir tribes and Some Oromo. These clans have been paying tribute to Geri since up to recently for fear that Geri will put them to death.

You can read also this quote from a well-trusted source. UNITED Nation, Somalia Study. It states Darood as the largest tribe in Somalia. Also, if you read, "Clanship and Contracts" of I.M Lewis, It refers to Somali population when we were numerically less than today. He estimated Darood to be over a Million and Half out of 3 Million. You can't deny that Source also.

"Somalia
Harrying of the Hawiye
The Hawiye occupy the south central portions of Somalia (see Samaal , ch. 2). The capital of Mogadishu is located in the country of the Abgaal, a Hawiye subclan. In numbers the Hawiye in Somalia are roughly comparable to the Isaaq, OCCUPYING A SECOND DISTANT PLACE to the Daarood clans. Southern Somalia's first prime minister during the UN trusteeship period, Abdullaahi Iise, was a Hawiye; so was the trust territory's first president, Aadan Abdullah Usmaan. The first commander of the Somali army, General Daauud, was also a Hawiye. Although the Hawiye had not held any major office since independence, they had occupied important administrative positions in the bureaucracy and in the top army command."

This map highlights the clan distribution of Kenya,

http://www.ejoka.com/ken-eth.jpg

There are other sources that indicate that Juballand, an area settled by Marehan, Harti, and Ogaden to be 23 % of Somali population. Alone that region.

I have used sources. I expect you to use sources.

My time is limited. Northern Harti alone accopies more lands than All Isaaq put together.

I am giving all of this info to be impartial and show the world the numerical supremacy of Darod Ismail.

I dont share your ill tconceive hope my Ogaden sister, as long as MZ dominate the ONLF and sideline all other sub-clans in the way the organisation is run, then I am afraid the long awaited independence for our people will not materialise. Sad

I dont 'hate' MZs, infact I love them, but lets have a fair game for all. Having said that, long live ONLF and Ogadenia. Smile
