to my astonishing I came across few reer hamar people and they refused to be somali.. we were filling in this form where you have to give your race yeah, and this somali arab guy sitting next to me refused to tick the somali box as his race..... I was like, come again!!?.. he said he aint somali... funny sh!t... I almost slapped that guy.. and I kinda calmed myself down and said to meself ' he is got the right to refuse the somali identity'... is the world going mad or its just me

Dude, I noticed The same issues too...But I cant say all of them refuse...because I know some who are die hard somali patrotic.
I also notice there are Some lightheaded somalis who deny others like xamari's to be somali.

When it comes to race, it simply says, white, Black, Asian, Hispanic etc etc etc, you come here and tell us that "Somali" has a place as a race is as absurd as you having a functioning brain.
