[quote="Caydid"] "You reported on a story without looking at the likely causes; the motives and much more. Your purpose I guess is to tell us (those who visit somalinet) that Muqdisho is a killing field compared to those in Campuchea!"
Caydiid
I just posted a valid event that is taking place in Muqadishu which is my capital and every Somali who has such feelings. If you live there why not give us your analysis of the event without crying foul, and spinning Mogadiscio to be as safe as Phenom Penh

.
"If you, however, analyse you will realise that this wave of conflicts has been instigated, nourished and set in motion by the so called peace process. The president (whose goals you hardly report on) bears the ultimate responsibility. He made Jowhar his H/Q; used the terrorism card and made conflicts lucractive."
This has been brewing for a while now, and I wrote a post based to that effect after I came back from Somalia, and predicted that there will be a clash between the forces at loggerheads toady. Unfortunately, the archives of Somalinet are gone.
"To those who wants to report this as a hawiye conflict you are wrong. This is a conflict like that in Buulo burde between members of the same sub clan. It is financed and given moral support by the TFG. Most of Muqdisho is peaceful."
I have never claimed this to be " a hawiye conflict", and I don't believe that Abdulahi Yusuf is a legitimate leader of Somalia, but is a warlord one of the worst kind, while you on the other hand, have again and again demonstrated your support based on tribal solidarity. Don't ask me how I came to this conclussion.

I wish a capable non-Hawiye/ Daarood person to take the lead like in Somaliland for the sake of peace.
"You choose your side: Are you on the side of the wadaads who wants to bring peace; some kind of order and a revolutionary perspective to the somali conflict Or on the side of warlords who ran out of esteem (using tribalism) but found sanctionary in the new geopolitical situation of cashing on on fighting terrorism??"
I have studied closely the wadaad's activities and lived with them in Mogadiscio for over 2 weeks, and saw first hand their generosity and great humanitarian agenda. Though I found out many reasons to believe that they shouldn't run the affairs of the State on a permanent basis, I wholeheartedly support them to get rid of the warlords, and run as a transitional government till the Somalis elect a new government and relinguish the affairs of the State to that body. Will they do that? I don't know, do you?
