Why isn't Tanzania a part of Igad? What do you think of that organization period? Tell me more about it.

Welcome african prince

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IGAD

Tanzania is not in the horn , Uganda is not in the horn region as well but
it joined Igad due to similiar interests as Kenya, and due to it bordering 3 of the member states.

"Tanzania is officially classified as in the East. therefore its not in the Horn."

I thought Igad was made to beneft all of East Africa, not just the Horn (Ethiopia,Eritrea, Djibouti and pan-Somalia). I consider Sudan,Ethiopia,Eritrea,Djibouti, pan-Somalia,Kenya,Uganda and Tanzania to be East Africa.

IGAD is for Countries that are either engaging in Internal Conflict (Civil wars) or with the neighboring Countries......And that's not For the Great Country of Tanzania!

You definitely right, Tanzania unlike many other igad members such as Ethiopia and Uganda amongst others, don't tend to fiddle around on others internal affairs, infact tanzania is regarded as the most peaceful and stable african country....Tanzania serve as good model for Somalia among other nations in the continent involve in a bloody civil strife..
