Reer Xamar is like lama goodle. They have both Jareer and Cadcad.

Lamagoodle folks have more darker skinned folks than Reer Xamar, but Reer xamar have more Jareer-looking folks than Lamagoodle.

Faadumo Qasim Hillowle is said to be Yemeni. Laughing

Surria, Ashraaf people are everywhere. Even in Sanaag, there are Ashraaf people which speak like Warsangelis down there. (I have seen several of them) So you people are spread out but highly respected Somali clan because of the belief that you might be related to the Prophet.

Somalis don't understand what is required to be a Somali (a national identity)? As they say, the nation is a feeling that people think to share regardless of their tribes, or the regions that they come from (imagined community). Most Somalis believe in their tribes and the regions (areas) their respective tribe resides rather than the nation. In future, if the notion of the Somali nation has to succeed among the Somalis, then we have to foster those sentiments. Till then, you are whatever you want to be.

Yes, i do agree with you that ashraaf are everywhere, there is a huge community in kenya. Also, i cannot say that i'm related to the prophet (PBOH), but many of my relatives believe that we are.

Also, faadumo qasin is actually a samali bantu, it's the first i have heard that she is from yemen. However, her family like the madhibaan use to say that they are from one of the big tribes.

A hawiye, specifically a hawadle Laughing

Anyhow. If you consider yourself somali then you are. My mother is a muwalad and she considers herself a somali. Some somali's say she is arab and some say she is somali. Whatever you believe is what you are. If you think you are originally chinese then so be it.

Muriidii, you are Somali the question is do you consider yourself a Somali? I don't like when you guys are only Somalis when it's convenient for you and the rest of the time you are Yamani or from wherever else god forsaken place.
