Some Love, Some Pain, Sometime
By J. California Cooper

The stories in this collection follow normal people dealing with everyday issues. They're good people who sometimes make evil choices, and you see them suffer as a result.

Very inspirational up

Samatr ??????????

Wuthering Heights?????? Why??? I can't believe this. How can you like such a depressing, dragging as Somalilight said above-- How could you??? But worst--Somalilight dares to praise Charlotte Bronte & ignore Jane Austen. This is ridiculous. Rolling Eyes

As far as I am concerned Jane Austen & Elizabeth Gaskell are the best 19th century writers of all time.

Best book i ever read?? Emma, Pride & Prejudice,Wives & daughters & of course the Shakespeares plays. Rolling Eyes

But the best---modern contemporary book i ever read was one by Sidney Sheldon.

'If tomorrow comes' - This book untill now amazes me to my wits! IT's simple very smart!! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I think the best book I've EVER read was Bram Stokers Dracula. LOVED IT. I absolutely and totally HATED emma AND Wuthering Heights. Her sister was most definately a better more nuanced writer.

When all the hype aout Dan browns book the da vinci code was going on, i didnt bother with it, i am abit of a snob. I assumed that since allot of people liked it, it would probably be boring.

i was flying one day and when i was in the airport bookshop, it was infront of me so i picked it up.
I must admit it was one of the best books ive read, didnt put it down for the whole 6 hour flight.
after that i had to read all the other Dan brown books,

Angels and Demons and Deception point
