You really are unintelligent. There IS qualitative difference between answering YES or NO to question requesting either a YES or NO for an answer and qualifying your answer.

Its not my own made up ad hoc etymology etiquette but general, nay, universal understanding. Have you ever been to a court proceeding or watched an episode of Law and Order. The prosecutor NEVER takes a qualified answer from the witness for questions demanding YES or NO for answer. If you don't know why, I suggest you go learn why!
