I was once visiting a new friend of mine when the door bell rang. Italian guy with a large round coffee table came in and asked her to sign some papers.

Then I asked her what it was all about she said "we ordered our furniture from Italy when we were getting married and this table was never delivered.

I went to her place to comfort her after a very ugly divorce.

The point is engagements/marriages and the inevitable D word are all in the fast lane these days.
