DD New Commander-In-Chief Of Freethinker's Alliance

For the benefit of those freethinkers that couldn't attend the meeting earlier today, I feel I ought to update you on the following development within Freethinkers' Alliance: Galol has after weeks of struggling with his conscience voluntarily stepped down as leader of Freethinkers' alliance (which for the benefit of those that are unaware is a coalition of all the atheists, agnostics and rationalists on this forum.)

Following Galol's surprise resignation, all the attendees of Freethinkers’ Alliance voted for who they wanted to replace Galol as new leader & commander-in-chief of Freethinkers’ alliance.

Following a democratic vote, DD was elected as new leader, and Avowedly-agnostic came runner up (though I strongly suspect that DD may have rigged the vote, but due to the urgent need for complete unity and cohesion within the organisation, I didn’t seek a ballot box recount)

DD promised in his Inauguration speech to wage an even greater and more vicious assault against Islam. We welcome this news. And hope that DD will keep to his word.

As we say in Freethinkers’ Alliance: “Banish superstition, wherever you find it”.

Galol it seems is having regrets about his decision to step down as head of Freethinkers' Alliance. He's even accused the right honourable Mr. Avowedly of having orchestrated a coup d'etat against him.

Now Galol, it's perfectly understandable that you would harbour regrets concerning your decision, but concocting grand stories about a violent overthrow which never took place is really damaging to the image of Freethinkers' Alliance.

Some dozen or so freethinkers were at the meeting, and they can all testify that you willingly resigned following your extraordinary revelation that you wouldn't any longer carry out any criticisms of Islam and superstition.

Let's now close this chapter , and move on with DD as the newly elected Commander-In-Chief.

DD and Avowedly are the ringleaders of counter-revolutionary forces with long term ambition of reaching a deal with the forces of darkness..that deal includes the reactionary forces providing waek and unsinpiring opposition from their side whom Avowedly and DD can then heroically slay thus making themselves into heroes of the masses.

I wish I didn't have to do this Galol my dear friend, but your accusations of DD and I partaking in "treachery" and "counter-revolutionary" activities is bringing our respectable organisation into disrepute, so you leave Avowedly with no choice, but to expose your fraudulent claims.

In a thread titled, "Final Promise And Apology "(see below) Galol openly declared to the astonishment of all freethinkers that he would cease all criticism against Islam and religion.

It was in this context that I gave Galol an "ultimatum"; that he either end his peace treaty with Islam or face re-election. When Galol refused to speak on the matter, I was left with no choice, but to convene an "emergency meeting" of Freethinkers' Alliance where we all decided that Galol was not doing his job effectively.

Freethinkers then demanded from Galol that he review his promise or step down; Galol opted for the latter. We then had democratic elections, in which Dhuuso_Dheer won by a slight margin.

There was no treachery involved, nor any overthrow.

Do you mean to say that the Freethinkers' Alliance has a superstitious fellow as leader? That's an outrageous slander against Freethinkers' alliance. Outrageous I say!

My friend, we freethinkers have the marked distinction of not requiring leaders. We got pretty much a shared set of common values that form the glue and material that hold us together. In that sense, LEADER of freethinkers is misnomer.

Also, do not feed the dogs of over the top suspicion and paranoia with fresh entrails. Some here are already convinced we, the freethinkers or nonmuslims, form some kinda of nefarious nexus of evil intent on undermining Islamic unity and comity.

With that said, I must turn down the offer. I wouldn't want lead anyone nor be led by anyone.

Ladies & Gentlemen of the Freethinkers' Alliance, it seems as if DD has had a slight change of heart regarding his leadership position, but FEAR NOT, Mr. Agnostic shall temporarily assume the post of commander in chief until the next round of elections can be held.

I've been inundated with pms from half a dozen freethinkers whom I won't name for the sake of preserving their dignity all expressing their staunch support for me.
