I've seen enough of Al-Jazeer to know it offers anything BUT diverse perspective. It's news organisation, tailor-made for a particular audience -- Arabs and muslims. Its worth having on the air to counter balance the deteriotingly complacent American and Western media vis-a-vis the 'war' on terror and related issues but don't depend on it SOLELY as information source. You'll be sorely MISinformed.
