Houses are freakin expensive in Somalia. You can probably get a nicer house in Mombasa for the price you would get a villa in hargaisa and bossasso.

A decent house in Hargeisa today will run you anywhere from 45k to 55k, my brother bought a house there this last summer for about 65k, this includes dhawr baloodh land near the airport. The nicest area to buy homes nowadays is near the airport and I kid you not, its mostly HY,

Houses cost around 10--20 plus it is a rip off done to the unsuspecting buyers. The Housing Business is just a rip off. I am sure if you find regular persons and relatives in the area, they will get you the best deal. Don't trust those fellas from online or with the Flyers in your city that they are a company well known. They make 10 -20 Gs out of you.
