The historical landsmarks of the Dervishes are still intact. The city boasts of having nationalist tribesmen who are so fierce when it comes to the name Somali. I am thinking of going there in shallah en route to Sanaag and Bari--Bossaso.

When did Ceerigabo become your city? Exclusively Warsangeli and Harti territory. You only own the West side of the city--a tiny village.

On my next trip to Somalia, I will make sure to go to Ceerigabo. I will, once and for all, find out who the city really belongs to.

How big is Ceerigabo? In terms of size, what cities in Somalia would you compare it to? Goldogob? Burco? Jaribaan?

It has no mayor Saxib. Every clan has his own mayor.

The only Isaq clan that has a little right to the city is Habaryoonis. Habarjeclo will become untouchable there as they were once even driven out of the city by their kinsmen. We were distant watchers and warned them to take their squabbles off our areas.
