the hot shot general was gunned down by a kid of 14 years old, reported a reliable resource. the kid whose name was maintained Hassan Ahmed said that he saw a flock of militia coming to his way in Madina district. he saw one distinct person wearing a cowbow hat. the kid used to hear that Ceydiid wears a cowboy hat so he said that he aimed his gun at the guy with the hat and took the shot. he shot him twice, one on the shoulder and the other in the stomack. the figure (Ceydiid) drop'd immeadiate on the ground and immense number of militia souranded the figure.. the kid knew he hit some one important but he wasnt sure untill two days later when he learned that Ceydiid is dead...

this kid went down in history the guy who killed General Ceydiid. he become a huge name in his community in Madina district. the kid is now married with four kids who are lineage to a great hero who shot down the most militant warlord somalia ever known... this kid is seen as a hero my the wider community in mogadishu plus his family and alotta other people who saw Ceydiid as the most idiotic general in the somali history...

To the other non-0.5ers, Caydiid died in his country with his pride. He refused to be evacuated even when President Moi sent him a plane to carry him to Kenya. Caydiid said I would rather die in my country than in a foreign one. Caydiid did not die immediately from the gunshot wound but the surgery to dislodge the bullet.

Everyone knows:

1. Moi was an excellent friend of Siad Barre toward the end and hate Aydiid to death. Every one knows how Moi told the Degoodie Hawiye in NFD that he would strike against them if they crossed the border to Gedo to help Aydiid when the blood of USC soldiers was staing the streets.

2. Everyone knows Aydiid died in his one shack room in Mogadishu powerless and without support even from his own Sacad. Sacad support was divided into three sections btw Aydiid, Cato, and Qeybdid. Cato and Qeybdid wanted to get rid of the then increasingly senile Aydiid so Cato paid with his money and Qeybdid did the killing. I'll tell you to tell the ppl who Aydiid died in his shack with his close-close family members who were sheltering him from even his own Sacad!
