Guys you know why Somalis kill each other? E.g. One person steals anothers money... And then they bring the problem to "tolka". But the tolka mediates nothing but just talks like the way some of you are analysing the problem.... My God.. Why don't you read the thread before judging people??? And you know what happens? The guy whose money is stolen just gets pissed of and takes his Ak and shoots the thief... Then comes " Dee nin reer hebel ah ayaa diley nin reer hebel ah ee waa in loo aaraa" it goes on..... Had they mediated the two guys in the right manner they could have safed the lives of so many...One sentence was enough for the TOL"Waar ninka lacagtiisa sii" But nah they would never say... They say something like " Dee ninka tol baad tihiin, xooluhuna waa idinka wada dhexeeyaan, wuuna kula leeyahay, haddii uu hunguri qaaday ka roonow adigu" What is that Question ..... I always tell my friends that Somalis are very bad on garta....

Gacalisa you annoyed me... Surprised I thought you were better than that... Where in the thread did I say " The girl is carring his Garac and she wants him to pay her appartment" Just show me...

I am repeating myself the 10th time maybe... These people are a couple husband and a wife not a boy friend stuff.... The girl never asked him to pay her apartment... She is responsible for her family which she can't just leave and walk away from them... She just needed little I say little help from the dude.... If you think it is fair that he answers " It is not my prinicple" then this world we live is walaahay duni waalatay...

So she wants to buy appartment, yet she needs $2000, somthing is not right. I would not give $100 even if she lives next door. He is right, I agree with him. Life has changed, I wont pay anything to a girl friend or engagged. I will still be carefull when I am married. Somali girls have changed, so you have to keep in mind that constantly.

Hi Laughing Kambuli

My understanding the couple are husband and wife but separated by immigration circumstances and family issues , she is in Europe and He is in America , if I am correct she is staying with her immidiate relative and wants to move to her own place and she asked her husband for some help ? if that is the case , are you sure he agreed with her to move alone, I think your cousin isn't telling you the whole picture . This gentleman worries his wife moving alone , he might suggesting to her stay with your family untill things will improve , if they love each other as You said ThaT is what he mean " the principal " he might not want to say her straight face stay where you are. I don't think he would mind helping her BUT didn't agree moving her ALONE my opinion
