Religion did not come by the sword, that is a myth spread by the Crusaders and unfortunately alot of ppl just swallowed without digesting it. I thought you were more pragmatic to fall for that flimsy fabrication. Pity.

Are you telling us that prophet Muhammad (SAW) brandished his sword in the square of Makkah and started threatening ppl? Islam is spread by the book but is guarded by the sword, just like it is not right to force Islam on ppl, it is as much right to safeguard them from being ejected forcibly from Islam.

The lamentations of the rejecters is not considered in this scenario, let the Warlords perish, they had their chances but chose to waste.

Somalilight

This is the first time I saw you really despondent and I am sorry but you made me laugfh. Normally you are so vivacious and full of optimism but this Wadaad victory clearly rattled you. Dont fear my dear those who come by Kalashni usually die by Kalshni. Doesnt sound quite as catchy tas the sword sorry. In fact they probably will not even wait to be Kalashnified; they will implode like a cancer eating itself. All the wadaads in the world have the collective intelligence of mentally handicapped cockroach and they will destroy themselves because they have no vision beyond oppression and death and barbarity. Their instinctive tendency is to micromnage pettiness and that usually backfires on them. Witnes how their first act was to ban the World cup! In Afganistan I thgink their firts act was to ban make up.

Clearly you see this as jumping from frying pan into the fire I tend to believe it is the other way round. At least the nation will have one cl;ear oppressor; a single entity to focus our hatred on.

Luugos

Why lie about history? Who told you that God wants you to lie on his behalf? Isalm is a faith borne out of the sword; from Badr to Uhud to khaybar to yarmuk to Qaddissiyah to Egypt to Qeyrawan to hattin to Jerusalem to Karbala and the death of the Hashemites. From the burning of Boats on andulcian beaches to the Isalm fired hordes descending on Tana; from the Mogul rape of India to the Ottoman rampage in kosovo. From the desytruction of Nubia to the bloodbaths of Yathrib- Isalm has been a faith of death. Nothing wrong with that, killing is part of man's history but How dare you lie about such incontrovertible historical facts thus denying those killed and the civilisations destroyed their noble place in dignified history.

My old friend , The battles you mentioned were nothing to do with religion, was survivors’ thing. You remember the history of Arabia right after Prophet Mohammed's (PBUH) death. People started to fight who leads and what happened after that is in the history. You know politics and human nature for love of power with dignity and religion! Who can resist when I believe I can do better than next person can for this great religion? That is exactly what was going on and not for bloodthirsty thing.

We are not rewriting the history but you can see in different angles than Co and me. Very Happy

Too much power for the Wadaado to have.

This is getting a little scary..it could be a trap for the wadaado or there is something wrong here. How could they capture all these cities and get rid of the powerful warlords in few weeks when no one could do it in 16 yrs??? something is not clear in this picture!!!!

إني أرى رؤوساً قد أينعت وحان قطافها
"Waxa ii muuqada madaxyo bislaaday oo uu yimid waqtigii la goosan lahaa"
( I see ripe heads which are to be cultivated )

These are words of Hajjaj bin Yusuf Al-thaqafi (an Islamic leader) short before he kills so many people in Baghdad.

Sir Luggooyow,
That is the way Islam religion spread.

SL, Galool,
Those hysteric Wadads can't change into good politicians.
They will soon show their ugly face – hence their end.
Somalis and civilized world will never accept them.

You understand why I used that word of grievance.

Hajaj wasn't Islamic leader was a 'safa7' he was more Umayatta's Dog than anything Islamic. And we aren't so proud of him at all as Arab leave alone as Muslims.

Galol, Same and S-Light

You can beleive whatever you desire and I ain't here to change your perspective, but the fact of the matter is, the persecution early Muslims endured is something you wouldn't wish for a human being. The wars that took place during the prophet (SAW) time were all counter aggression. As for the spread of Islam outside of the Arab peninsula, envoys with letters (not swords) were sent to rulers of the time, some accepted the invitation and some rejected.

But what would you lot know about the facts of history when you fall for the first word that an anti Islam utters, actually it is a field day for you when someone says something negative about Islam, so your words don't count.

"Further north in Baidoa, the interim parliament has voted to call for an African peacekeeping force."

Laughing Laughing The flower afbiijo is scared sh^tless. Baydhabo is next I swear. The islamic groups in Baydhabo already welcomed the Mogdishu courts to send Afbiijo packing back to Bari or whatever other sh^thole he came from.

Parliament Approves Military Intervention

Shabelle Media Network (Mogadishu)
NEWS June 14, 2006 Posted to the web June 14, 2006
By Mustafa haji - Baidoa

Somalia parliament approved finally foreign troop deployment motion brought by the government on Sunday after three days debate.
125 law makers voted foreign troops to be deployed in the country while frontline states are also included.
40 legislators opposed the proposal though majority led them.
The issue sparked tension among the parliamentarians for the last months and efforts to address it failed previously.
The Islamists who are recently intensifying to new positions in the country have already warned foreign military intervention saying it will lead to fresh fighting in the country.
"Today Somali legislators have given a majority vote the motion that asked military intervention" Sheik Sharif said.
