MAN LOOSES MONEY ON THE WORLD CUP

Postby gobdoon » Sun Jun 18, 2006 11:01 am

Football is a funy game and unpredictable,a Swiss man has put down £400.000 for Italy to beat the USA and lost his money, and that's bigest single bet in the world so far, another had £35000 on Argentina Serbia game and collected his winnings, football is a strange game.

there is a swahili proverb that goes like this "mtaka yote hukosa yote"
"he that wants all looses all"

Yeah, that's nice one as well-I do sypathise with the poor man because if you asked every body they would have agreed with him before the kick, and would have told him what a good investment-what do you think he is going to tell his wife. Smile

But why?? Shocked

wallahi this world is strange! sxb, i have lived in a place infested with hardcore alcoholics and even shared the same house with a djiboutian that drank it like there was no tommorow. i swear to Allah the thought of even tasting it never ever crossed ma mind. i can't understand how an able bodied muslim, espeacillay one brought up in enviroment like the one back home can entertain the thought of drinking alcohol in their mind and go ahead to have one Confused

how did you switch from jaad to alcohol?? did you used to chew with those people that drink it after chewing session in order to neutralise it's effect to get some sleep??
