Well, Cool didn't say it was a sin, and neither did I. I am not insinuating it should be banned, I am just saying it's BS.
mad, i'm an ardent follower of the game and have no qualms withthe rules in place. the thing i hate about thegame is the current overated footballers and the hype surounding them and the entire game.

I play football three times a week. i would't have played if it was a sin would i?

I still think the rules should be changed. The off sides thing is out of hand.

mad, i agree with u about the bad call but the guy who threw the penalty kick was really smart. He sent this fake signal to the g-keeper who thought he was reading the other guy's mind.

soccer is popular all over the world except US and Canada. I am sure if America spent 0.00001% of what they spend on policing the world on this fantastic game of soccer, American team would be great.

Mad Mac: Soccer is really really boring. I never could stand it. Sad that I live in a country which dies for soccer and now, with the World Cup, you have it all day long on the TV, in the bars, everywhere.

The real sport for me is the car races, specially Formula 1 (we don't see here the 500 of Indianapolis). You have to be a real athlet to drive one of those cars fighting against the G force at 340 kms/h. Ten years ago, in a roadshow of F3000, I was invited to drive an old F3000 car for a couple of hundred metres at a limited speed in Jerez, and man, the feeling of power inside one of those cars is really exciting. You push the pedals and it's really great. What I don't understand is how the pilots can stand the high temperatures inside the car. They have the motor on their backs and it literally burns. I was sweating as hell after 200 metres and ten seconds in the cockpit. Imagine what a career must be.

And if you want a dangerous sport, F1 is your call.

Take a look to this:

I won't miss this weekend the F1 Race in Montreal. The Spaniard Alonso gonna win again.

Error
Actually, South Korea, Japan, the US, Cuba and the Dom Rep - in those countries baseball is the most popular sport. And in China, Baseketball has overtaken soccer. But I see your point.

Kamal
Formula one is even more boring than soccer. And bad for the environment.

Qudhac
You know that call was over the top. You watch, against Brazil Ghana won't get the calls. The refs have their favorites. But I will be rooting for Ghana for the rest of the tourney. Ghana and South Korea.
