There's nothing wrong w/ the offsides rules, it just makes the game more competitive, otherwise you would have the strikers hanging out beside the goal instead of trying to beat the defense to score.

American football is the only game that Half-a-Ton FatAss Americans can play. It's an Equal Opportunity Game.

Football can be both utter c*ap or great to watch.
I prefer Rugby League all day.

A blue line would cure that problem. Right now the defense is artificiall boosted by the off sides rule applying field wide. I can see forcing the movement of the ball across a blue line, but after that, things should open up. The scores are giveaways that something is wrong. The game is too consistently low scoring.

Football isnt the most popular sport in the world for no reason. A bad ref call happens now and then, after all the referees are human beings, and plus this isnt like hockey where they have 2 or 3 refs. The football refs have to cover the whole football field, and sometimes they are bound to get it wrong.
And as for the offside rule, without the offside rule it would make everything easy for the fowards. They can just hang around near the keeper at the penalty box, and then get the balls delivered, and the defenders are powerless. The offside rule is one of the best thing ever happened to football.
And as for the penaltty kicks. The name says it all, PENALTY kick, you commit a foul inside the box, and you get punished for it. Otherwise defenders can just dive in and kick anyone and anything they see in the box, in order to stop them scoring

I know the question wasn't directed at me ...but from my observation of your writing and behavior you tend to act like one. Hope that answered your question!

That spanish character has the audacity to tell us how 'great' F1 is. Let me tell him this: F1 is c^ap and only petrolheads wannabes follow it
