parental control is harder than it sounds because either way, kids will be influenced by their friends and the more they are limited, the more they want to break free.

perception. you see a black man wearing baggy clothes, rastas and a chain and you automatically asume that he is a criminal. so what if the guy was a geek? he has to be really smart considering that he creates the music.

Parental control comes handy while their still a bundle of joy,you just can't out of the ordinary assume all of a sudden to put the P-control on when their 16yr age that's beyond restorable. It has to be done from the get-go.

They just simply watch it a friends place. One who's parents are less strict. really, there's no way around it, short of cutting them off from all forms of media.

Happy Des, The whipping concept is the best invention aside from Michael Faraday invention of the first electric generator. whipping your kids does work. It's been proven and tested, It's the best invention we inherited.

We don' t get BET in the UK Sad .

My nieces and nephews don' t watch TV at all. They don' t have one. One of the little ones actually believes that she'll go blind if she watches TV. I made her believe that. Bless her she is only 2 years old Laughing

Most parents use the television as a baby sitter and are simply too lazy to keep their children occupied with useful activities that will enhance their intellectual development.
