Referees are ruining the world cup

Wallahi too many unneccessary cards being handed out and too many fouls being called. Some of the referees are abviously biased towards certains teams too and they are even afriad of it showing it. Is anyone watching the portugal and hoelland game? That referee is crazy. The best referee so far was the one that refereed the match between argentina and mexico. No calls for foul, zero red cards and not too many yellow.

i agree, SOME refs have focked up, specially going back to the refs in the USA-Ghana game, you should have heard what the espn commentators who the calling the game were saying about him. i'm watching this portugal and nedethlands game right now and ref is FOCKING up huge, he's almost lost it.

The ref. did what he had to do. Many of the players played a dirty game. I think all four players that were sent off deserved the second yellow card.

^ players being sent off did. But the initial yellow cards that the players being sent of are questionable. This Mofo had his whistle just waiting to whistle His yellow card was already in his hand for most of the second half plus his red card was peeping out his shirt pocket so as to say " Im ready for yoooooooooooo"

On top of that, the Refs are calling fouls where none exist (witness Ghana - US) and they are not calling fouls where they are blatant (Figos head butt). The problem is, one ref isn't enough and they need instant replay.

The refs made it clear to all the teams from the getgo, Although checking the replay wouldn't hurt before making a call.

The Holland vs Portugal game last night was insane. They both ended wit 9 men

But still, all the yellow and red cards are justified in my opinion. The ref was just follwoing the rules, its the players own fault. All the red cards he gave are fully justified. Time-wasting, diving, two-footed tackles, handballs etc etc..

The ref had no choice, he had to act upon the rules. I blame it entirely on the Dutch and Portugese players0

I'll admit it was a rough game. But Figo should have been gone for the head butt. No question about it. The portuguese were by far the dirtier of the two, and should thus have paid a stiffer penalty in terms of being shorthanded.

The Dutch were ten times dirtier. Behlarouz started off by injuring Ronaldo like 10 minutes after the first whistle.. The dutch in general were playing dirty last night.
