I do agree with you that it was initially organized as a grassroots movement, but already it is been hijacked by Dahir Aweeys, Indhocadde and their cohorts, and contrary to what Arabman and other self interested bigots claim, they are not "Islamists", their actual definition is second hand Wahabi tribalists with an attitude to match. Excuse me, I did not mean Somalis are not Muslims. What I was saying was there is differences between Muslims and Islamist. We have over 1 billion Muslims are all those Islamist? Maybe or maybe not.

About the Jew relatives, yes I do have Jewish and Christian relatives. Why you are suprised? in Yemen they have ' harat Yuhoud' and there where my great great great grandfather from maybe 200 or 300 years ago. Majority there are Muslims now but some still are jewish. But they talk, dress just like rest of Yemenians. Also in Jezan( Saudi Arabia) Many people from Yemen origin are Christians, but you would never tell any differences between them and next Saudi Jayzani.

We are not homogeneous like Somalis. I bet you haven't heard Saud family were Jew before their tribe convert to Islam, even not secrate and they teach it in Schools. Being Jew or Christian in religion was better than being Pagan in Arabia. So, we don't feel ashamed of it. Enef said.
