I have named this thread what is more important to us this life or the next?

this question i belief is tough and quite a heavy one so give a good thought and research before you answer it

duniya for now and keeping my fingers crossed for akhira.

Akhira no doubt

off course the akhira is more important, but you gotta work hard and dont let the desires of the duniya side track you.

actually the enemies of islam are happy with you reasoning,
that aakhira is more important.

ofcourse individualy for the sake of your etarnal soul aakhira is more important, but the kaafiroon do not believe in aakhira, and when you concentrate fully on aakhira nad ignore the dunyia they are happy.



We can win both duniya and aakhira, our ancesters did it, we can too
do not let the kaafiroon into your head.

Allah said in Surat Al-Baqara ayahs 2001-2002

"And of them there are some who say: "Our Allah! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire! and "For them there will be allotted a share for what they have earned. And Allah is Swift at reckoning".

We are allowed to earn both, by being sincere and honesty in everything we are doing. We're also working for hereafter.

Salam Alekum the akhira of course thats eternal life. Jannah is our goal and we only got one chance, this dunya is our only chance so by being good muslims here Insh`Allah Jannah will be granted and this life will be easier for us also Insh`Allah.

THE LIFE OF THIS WORLD IS A FLEETING ALLUSION, ALWAYS PURSUIT YET NEVER ATTAINED. The only way a muslim can be succesfull in both dunya and akhira is to follow the teaching of our deen as instructed by the prophet scw. dunya life compared to akhira garab kaneeca xetaa ma la eka according to a hadith of rasuulu llah scw.

i disagree with most of you, this ife is important for the next; in the sense that what we do here will have a direct bearing on our state in the afterlife

ooops! I didn't even have to look far--look at this post & tell me -- u are not sad. Heavy indeed. The irony is-- u think u are a good muslim & are close to Janaah if u will --but u are very far from it dear.Your motives of becoming a devout muslim is born out of sheer personal horrific trauma,even better one would say, i mean the results is a favorable convertion--but u also have to 'love it' , dont acquire little knowledge of your diin & ran singing Sheikh kumbaya songs. This superiority conflict u have that u are a scholarly muslim,confident enough to face akhiro, & hopelessness enough to flee duniya naturally makes you very telling!Where is your modesty? Islam is about modest principles isn't it?? Just because u can say Jazak_Allah to a few posts of Diin related articles--i think u ran with this fancy idea that u are a Sheikh Idriis! LOL When in fact u are nothing but a desperate soul who will just end his life with a bullet soon.

... except you'll only live in ONE. And NO, believe has NOTHING to do with it. Dunya exists and is very real. Aakhira is figment of your imagination.

I have only this world to live (like every1 else), so I intend to live to the fullest and best of my abilities.

Shoot me? As sacrificial lamb to prove the existance of Aakhira? I must decline Cadeey. I mean why should I die for YOUR problem?!

However, you'll get suspicion of disbelieve and newly gained receptiveness if you show me evidence for Aakhira's existance. For example, we can see the evidence for the existance of Mars, jupiter, Vega, Alpha Centauri etc. But not a shred of evidence for Aakhira save the standard Islamic Tautology: Aakhira exists cuz Allah said so!

So what's it gonna be Cadeey? Got the cojones to take up the challenge? Remember: don't need PROOF, don't need ALL the evidence you could present either. Only some evidence and I'll study them with open mind.

For the likes of Dhusa_dheer, Enjoy duniya while it lasts, You'll definitely somber from hell fire, who do you considered that being a figment of your imagination as well. I'll let you stat that on your own. Duniya is nothing compared to Akhira.
