Your reer abti or your adeeryal ( father' s side of the family)?.
Who do you interact most with between the two. I have to say I tend to lean towards/favour my mother' s side of the family simply because we all happen to live in the same city and I get to see them very often.

Girl, are you kidding? Normally, there is a war between the family and the reer aadeeryaal. I mean it all depends on which you grew up with but the overwhelming majority of Somalis would pick their reer abti over their adeeryaal. I have seen dudes who broke up with a girlfriend because she didn't have any brothers, because having abti in the life of the child is so important to them. Also, ask yourself, why are Eedo-yinka are so hated in Somali culture and the habar-yar is so beloved?

I hang mainly with my reer abti, even though I can't stand their guts, Most of my adeeryal, Are mostly back at home in Djibouti, except for one or two, which are alot older and also resided in Canada.

Geez my reer abti ofcourse. Cant live without them. I must say I tend to like dhulos guys just because of my reer abti. At the moment I am seeing a dhulos guy unless a xawaadle guy comes along to sweep me off my feet. Laughing The probabilty that will happen is zero. Pity I do sometimes Imagine myself with hunk-oh-a-xawaadle-guy unfortunately there are no xawaadle guys in my city.

If anyone happens to know a half xawaadle half dhulos brother you know to give cadeey a call. Laughing

Advocator(mareexaan madoow badana Laughing ) Cut me some slack will ya! Xawaadle isnt a large qabil compared to Dhulbahante however Xawaadle is certainly more than Mareexaans. Laughing Mareexaans are like the madibaans of darood Laughing (So I have been told)

A very good question Advocator.
Appreantly It doesnt take a rocket sceintist to Figure out why. You see walaal xawaadle is a qabil that's known for their good looks and so is dhulbahanto. Its the law of attraction that every good looking man must marry a good looking woman and vice verse. Since dhulos men are a intelligent lot they have the tendecy to 'steal' our women (steal isnt the kind of word perhaps I should use seduce Laughing ).

To make matters more clear walaal its the law of attraction thats taking place between xawaadle-dhulos marriage. And if you are a dhulos man and you live close by to isaaq women what other choice is avaliable to you other than to migrate down south? and find yourself a young xawaadle beauty.(I hope I am making sense Laughing ). I mean we do all respect dhulos women are just as good as looking as xawaadle but they dont out do us you see.

Its does take a genius to figure xawaadle women are truelly the ppl that put Somalia on the map and any man with a tad of intelligence would find himself a lady from the decendants of the wonderful qabil of xawaadle Laughing Laughing

But the problem is majority of xawaadle women are married to non-xawaadles this is going to be a major problem in the near future. That would mean the xawaadle beuty will distinguish because other qabils will be privilaged to inherit what I call the 'good looking Xawaaadle Cade Gene'. Laughing This is BAD. Mad
