I was very saddened to find out today that Syd Barrett has died. One of the influences in my art and writing. Crying or Very sad

Though he hadn't done anything in decades, he was still one of the most interesting examples of what the human mind is capable of, and how acid can really mess you up. Some may not find the music he wrote for Floyd as "intelligent" as other Floyd songs. But the altered-reality and insanity aspect of the music he did write is genius. He was a founding member of the band, and was what Pink Floyd's music was focused around.

Sad day indeed. I was shocked yesterday when I heard the news.

In my memory are sounding right now songs as 'See Emily Play', 'Arnold Lane' or 'Bike'...
