The Somali Taliban al Itixaad affliates dominate the Somali media through;

1. HornAfrik - a Cayr owned and operated operation. Their slant has always been very proCayr and Al Itixaad.

2. Shabelle News - This is by far is the most obvious mouthpiece of the terrorist Dahiir Aweys. They always document the Taliban movements and are embedded in their operations.

3. BBC Somali's Yusuf Garad - This man has over the years turned the BBC into a very qabiil based operation. He has been spreading the taliban propoganda freely and censoring any antiTaliban news. He has a strong desire to prove himself as a Cayr due to being from a midgaan laaf whose Cayr origins are dubious at best.
