Are we the real Egyptians? I was looking at one of the old mummies and I swear it looked Somali, the curly hair, the lanky long bone structure, the nose and the teeth, everything about it looked Somali. Although many of the western anthropologists want us to think that Tutankhamen was Mediterranean looking and that all the other pharaohs where like him, not black. However, we all know and have seen the paintings on the pyramids that show the skin color of the pharaohÂ’s black.

Ancient egyptians were a differant race, from cushites although they are closer to us than medeteranians.

Egypt was also a huge mixing ground,
when the sahara started drying up, everyone headed towards the river valleys, and you had people attracted from asia and the mediteranean as well.

well the Egyptians referred to the land of Punt as "the land of origin" and frequented that land to trade in frankincense & stuff.

even when you look at the inscriptions in walls & stuff, you can't help but notice the resemblance in body & facial features btwn the somalis & ancient egyptians.

it's possible because we really don't know that much about the ancient times, everybody's got an opinion but it's really just speculation.
